Apprenticeship Work Report

This form must be maintained and submitted to the Apprenticeship Office at the end of each month.
Thank you for submitting your work hours with Laborers.

Submit Your Work Report Online

  1. Click the “Submit Work Report Online” button.
  2. Enter the required login information.
  3. Select “New Work Report”, then choose one of the following:
    – I have hours to report
    – I have zero hours to report
  4. Verify and update the reporting month at the top of the page.
  5. Under Employer, begin typing your employer’s name and select it from the list if available.
    – If your employer is not listed, select “Employer Not Listed.” Then, enter your employer’s information in the Comments section at the bottom of the page. We will add the employer to our system.
  6. Select the appropriate work category:
    – Core Work Skills
    – Environmental Remediation
    – Demolition & Construction
    – Pipeline
    – Building Construction
    – Heavy Highway & Utility Construction
    If you need assistance determining the correct category, refer to Appendix A – Construction Craft Laborer in your Apprentice Binder.
  7. Use the drop-down arrow for each day you need to report hours and enter the appropriate information.
  8. When you have finished entering your hours, click “Save Work Report.” When you are ready to submit, select the “Submit” tab.
    – If you previously saved a report, click “Edit” to make changes, then submit the report when it is complete.
  9. To update your address or any other personal information, include the details in the Comments section.

Tip: You can enter and save hours throughout the month, then submit your Work Report once all hours have been entered.

The Apprentice Monthly Work Progress Record (WPR) needs to be filled out each month and either submitted at the end of the month or the beginning of the following month (for example, send June’s report at the beginning of July).

The following information is a brief description of the Work Process Schedule – Please refer to Appendix A – Construction Craft Laborer for a more complete outline and details of the Work Process Schedule.

The following general skills should be mastered by all Construction Craft Laborers.

CCL Core Work Experience Schedule (General Skills)

Minimum 2,000 Hours
  1. Site preparation, layout, cleanup and security (Site/Project Preparation & Maintenance)
  2. Use and understand basic blueprint symbols and views (Site/Project Preparation & Maintenance)
  3. Recognize, secure and maintain job site safety (Safety)
  4. Identify and work safely around environmental hazards (Safety)
  5. Erect, dismantle, maintain and work from scaffold or lifts (Site/Project Preparation & Maintenance)
  6. Operate and maintain hand and power tools (Tools, Equipment & Materials)
  7. Operate and maintain equipment as required by the job (Tools, Equipment & Materials)
  8. Identify, estimate, move, supply, stock, and store materials (Tools, Equipment & Materials)
  9. Use appropriate hand signals (Safety)

CCL Areas of Concentration Work Experience Schedule (Specific)

Minimum 2,000 Hours

In addition to completion of the 2000 hours of OJL Core Work Experience an apprentice must complete a
minimum of 2000 hours of OJL in one (1) or more of the following CCL areas of concentrations: Masonry, Deconstruction/Demolition, Building Construction, Heavy/Highway and Utility Construction, Pipeline, Tunneling, Environmental Remediation, and Landscaping.

Please refer to the Appendix A for a description of activities that fall under specific areas of concentration.
